In retrofit projects, the electrical replacement is often easy, but the mechanical fit is not. Relighting.de checks whether a different luminaire, adapter ring, trim plate or project-specific solution can keep the existing ceiling intact.

The old luminaire may have a different mounting frame, trim size, spring distance or recessed depth. That makes direct replacement difficult even when the light output is easy to match.
A short project check avoids ordering luminaires that fit on paper but fail on site.
Measure the ceiling opening, not only the outside diameter of the old trim.
