Why the ceiling system matters
A nominal 600x600 panel can behave differently in T24 board, tegular, D-Type, Rockfon or metal ceilings. The visible edge and support profile determine whether the panel sits correctly.

Replace 600x600 LED panels in existing ceilings
600x600 panels are common in commercial ceilings, but replacement is not always as simple as matching the nominal size. Edge detail, grid type, driver space, emergency lighting and control gear can all affect the project.

Panel size, ceiling system, edge type, quantity, light colour, control type and photos of the grid are enough for a first assessment.
Frequently asked questions
Can every 600x600 LED panel be replaced directly?
No. The ceiling grid and edge detail need to match, especially in recessed or tegular systems.
What if the panel does not sit flush?
An adapter profile or alternative luminaire route may be required.
Can DALI or emergency lighting be included?
Yes. These requirements should be checked before selecting the replacement product.
Is a ceiling photo enough for a first check?
Often yes. A photo of the grid edge and one removed panel is especially useful.
